At this point I still feel like there still haven't been a reason to start the book, and I really don't understand what the hype is about. I'm willing to write the terrible prose off as bad translation, but the structure in itself is enough to give me nightmares. I'll probably finish the book, but as of now I doubt that I will pick up the next one, unless the next 300 pages are seriously great.
