Character descriptions are subpar. The black woman was describing as “black woman with lipstick and pearls wearing a stylish business suit”. It leaves room for interpretation but infuriating for the ones that like a whole picture while reading.

I am aware the author released a prequel to this book but it feels like the chemistry for two people who haven’t seen each other but for one night had zero build up.
