The gamemakers really underestimated Katniss and Peeta's love for each other lmfao suck it.

I'm not convinced that what they feel for each other is an actual romance, but I do know they care for each other so deeply.

also idk i feel like katniss appears so much more insecure, the way it's narrated here. unless it's just something i'm realizing only now. but it feels very realistic compared to other protags i've seen (cough, alina)

katniss is so funny and oblivous, i was right to assume i'd like the audiobook. it's somehow more helpful getting me to focus on my studying than my music?

Watched a video essay analyzing the filmmaking of these movies and I realized, the book is filled to the brim with internal monologue so I’d probably vibe really well with the audiobook. It was available on Libby so here I am listening to it while cramming for my heat transfer exam in less than 24 hours.
