Once he gets situated in his new house he realizes it is not like his old house in many ways. It isn’t big, it’s in the middle of nowhere, and the “houses” around are unusual looking. It is so touching because he thinks concentration camps are people’s houses and he not knowing what’s going on treats them equally even though he is not sure why there houses aren’t nice.

If your family wasn’t supporting Natzi's life would be very hard especially in present day America because we are so privileged.

He will never have to go to the concentration camp since his family in on the Natzi side but it is cool that in his eyes they are equal.
In America if this exact war was going on life would be very hard. Bruno being little doesn’t really feel the affects of the war because his parents protect him from it since he is a Natzi family.

This book moved me because it is such a horrible topic but it is so interesting to hear about the people’s experiences during the time of this awful war. Bruno is a little boy who is so confused and has no idea the war was going on. He finds out something is up when he sees his maid packing all of his clothing. He is really upset about moving and he hates his new house.
