Here's how it happens. I want to read Percival Everett's new book _James_ soon, and I figured I'd reread Huck Finn first since I haven't read it since junior high, and 10 years is a long time. And then I realized I've actually never read Tom Sawyer, so I'm doing that first. We'll see how quickly I manage to get to the originally intended book since I'm going through two classics first. 😂

Linda ~ they got the mustard out! ~ Hahaha, I did the same when I wanted to reread Huck Finn. Yet somehow, a lot of Tom Sawyer seemed familiar, so I must have encountered parts of it somewhere. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks! I think it would be hard NOT to pick up a lot of Twain just by osmosis, or it would have been when I was in school; not sure if he's as widely taught today. So it might feel familiar to me too...
