After reading this far they have yet to have a plan once they get to Cairo. While Jim and Huck will be free they cant get a job, a home, or anything they had before. they will have to live a homeless life.

What gang is hunting down Huck and Jim? More specifically, why? I guess that since Huck is helping Jim flee the gang is making sure they don't. but whatever may be going on, hopefully, the law doesn't catch wind of where they are, or else it will be over.

How will a child with an escaped slave be able to evade the law and not get caught? For a child to outsmart a large group of adults who are experienced in finding people is improbable to me. But I still do hope they get away.

Who taught Jim english? it's obvious he isn't good at speaking it but considering he is a runaway slave, he has no formal education. This means that someone must have taught him since him just picking the language up by himself is unlikely.

Why did Huck think it was a good idea to take Jim along? Jim may be taller and stronger but Huck is smarter. But since Jim is older it is likely he may have extra knowledge of the area and living off the land. hopefully, Huck doesn't die.
