Everyone knows or likes it tf. Including current slang and movies doesn’t make your high school story modern, not when you keep outdated cliches

I love this book! Just don’t think it’s as good as Instant Karma :/ I think maybe it needed another pass & some extra meat on its bones? The whole Ari/Jude was spoiled for me from the synopsis but even then it feels underdeveloped, especially Ari. I feel like we don’t know much about her as a person aside from her interests, which is a bummer because she’s the first Hispanic MM character & I was rlly excited
