I am at the part where Bruno found out about the boy in the striped pajamas and I noticed at this part, the author started to reveal a lot more about Bruno and his personality. He doesn't understand why this innocent boy is in such a horrible looks so hungry and weak. I wonder how he will find out about all of this and what it means?

Bruno seems very confused about the concentration camps and who hitler is. He knows there is something the his father is hiding from him but he can't figure out what it is. Will he continue to investigate and find out more about the people in the stripped pajamas.

I am enjoying this book so far, it think it is more of a comfort book for me. I like how Bruno showed the contrast between the two homes (the out-with and his old house in Berlin which he much preferred) He explains the out-with as a dark, boring and eerie place that doesn't feel like home to him. I also noticed how oblivious he is to the concentration camps that are outside his bedroom window.
