Illuminating thus far. Dialogue reads a little more present-day than time-stamped in setting of the book. Dragging my feet to finish, as I “know” how the story ends, being a fan of FLW and his architecture, and having taken the Oak Park, IL tour in the past. I’m invested in Mameh Cheney’s spirit, if not her actions.
