This book is really difficult to get through. The FMC simps way too hard for the prince, to a degree that it’s obsessive and creepy. The grammar and verbiage is a little weird as well (I get this is fantasy but phrases like, “Would that this were some fever dream…” are not necessarily grammatically incorrect but just not natural.
