This is the first of Paul's books that I've come across and, though it races along, I am finding it really hard to buy into the Nice Guys idea. I can't really get a grip on their background, how they came by the name etc, and while these answers may be evident in his first book Stalkers, people new to this author may struggle. The same with the main character. I get it he is a maverick cop but not enough background.
