A few days ago I had an edible and for some reason out of nowhere I was like "wow reading the Ilead would be the PERFECT high activity tonight." And indeed it was. First time cracking open this book since May. Man I love adulthood.

Finished book 2. I like very nice 👍 loving the prose idfk how I've never read poetry before but it's so beautiful such a vibe

It's... going 😭 I tried reading the whole blah blah translator's introduction rambling so I'd get some context but then I looked ahead and the introduction was FIFTY SEVEN PAGES. So I skipped to the poem. After that dense ass intro I'm vibing with the prose hard 👍😀😀💯
