I tried to read this book years ago but I wasn't ready for Frankie, but now that I'm older I love her character. She's a woman who owns her sexuality in a way that is often slut-shamed. I think that years ago I would have slut shamed Frankie which is probably why I had a hard time reading this boom then. I have always loved Emma Holly's work and I'm glad to return to it now.
