Rereading it made me like it more mostly because I'm familiar with the story, but I still think the first part is too strong so there's not much enticing the reader to care for the second part.

There are some delicious lines in this novel, but overall it's tedious and too long and what's the damn point?

Ugh, to have a guest come over when it's a bloody snowstorm outside and then he has to sleep over. The audacity! I wouldn't hold it against Heathcliff if he killed our narrator.
