What a beautiful piece of art this was to read. I laughed so hard in public I should be embarrassed (but I'm not). I also cried many times. The entire thing resonated deep within in me, and it could be because I'm the same age as the author. This read like a tough but necessary conversation that we all need to have with ourselves and keep putting off for a better time. Tell your people you love them, constantly.
