AAHHHHHHHH I AM SO EXCITED!!!! I love this book already, like actually in love. At first, I was confused when it began with Billy's point of view because I forgot that the grandfather told the story of The Princess Bride to Billy before bed (I know from the movie and hopefully I am right). I noticed that Billy is very imaginative and good at lying. Has he acquired that skill over time?

The Man in Black had beaten Inigo, which I found surprising, because Inigo had been training his entire life for it. Even so, Inigo was beaten. I found it sad, really, because he was training to kill the man with six fingers, yet he never found the man so far. Then, he was easily beaten by a man wearing black.

Inigos past was told by the narrator, which I found interesting. His father was killed by a man with six fingers after his father made a sword for him. So, doing as any normal person would do, Inigo had spent the rest of his life training hours on end every day squeezing rocks and sprinting. He was insane and this book holds many unrealistic standards, which only adds to the fantasy feel the author gives.

The Man in Black is now following Buttercup and her kidnappers as they climb the cliffs of insanity. He seems pretty determined. Although, I am not going to act stupid and act as if I don't know The Man in Black is Westley and act like I didn't watch the movie. I did watch the movie, and I do know The Man in Black is Westley. Anyways, I love the writing style!

I find the way that S. Morgenstern writes very different than what I am used to. He writes with smaller sentences, as if every word could be a cliffhanger. Although, the editing from WIlliam Goldman is quite confusing, as he will come in every now and then and summarize what had happened before he took out the content. All in all, I am really enjoying the book.

Westley had supposedly died, which I know he did not, as I had watched the movie. But it has broken Buttercup's heart, and she locked herself in her room. She is now 19. I think that Buttercup's love for Westley is stronger than I can comprehend, as she had not loved again after she heard the news, especially after being told she was the warmest and kindest girl in the world.

After Buttercup had confessed her undying love to Westley, he had gone off to build a life for them in America. What I had noticed was the difference between Westley and Buttercup--besides both of them being extraordinarily beautiful. (Because why wouldn't they be?) Buttercup is not the smartest while Westley speaks multiple languages. Buttercup is very jealous while Westley only thinks of Buttercup. It's surprising.

The count and the countess had visited the farm for Buttercup's father's amazing cows. But the count had started at Buttercup the entire time, which I found interesting because the narrator had said she was not even in the top twenty. I think the count will declare her as the most beautiful.

Okay, so, William (Billy) is married, and yet, he is flirting with this blonde girl at the pool and lying to his wife about it whenever she miraculously calls when he is talking to her. Sandy is her name, and I do not like her. She said two of his books were "like her favorite in the whole world." I know she is lying and using him for his fame.

What I find sweet is how his dad reads to him despite being near illiterate. I can tell that Billy's love for action really influenced his life as he grew up. I am excited to hear the rest of the book they are reading! Is the Princess Bride a real book?
