Picked this one up because I was looking for other books similar to The September house. i don’t see many similarities and I find the writing style boring and lacking.
I know I shouldn’t compare but it’s hard not to, in the September house the writing was very descriptive/flowery and had great humor and this is just descriptive with no personality-like someone talking in a monotone while telling a story
