There are so many metaphors/analogies, it almost hurts. Much of it could be attributed to the way the character thinks, but many of them are related to very specific people/things that everyone might not know about. In a psychological sense, I just don’t think the main character’s thought process, actions or ramblings (in his head & aloud) seem very realistic. Nor do his classmates’ reactions to the situation

Interesting. Goes on long rants from the teenager’s POV but I understand that it’s the unique personality of the teen. There are some moments I feel are lacking detail and others I feel have too much and just the verbiage makes some sentences confusing on the first read. There are some moments that seem entirely unrealistic. Such as the student being released back to class after abusing a teacher.
