Point of View Maze Runner is told in 1st person because it's Thomas perspective. So far Thomas just got to the Glade but others like Newt have been in Glade for many of years/months so there perspective currently would be way different then how Thomas is. Although everyone in the Glade has had the same perspective once because when they get sent into the Glade everyone losses there memory so the all get clueless

Visualize: I visualize that the glade smells like fiji, sounds like birds chirping, and feels very cautious. The glade seems like a peaceful place where you can do fun activity's on the grass like tag. A scene that i pictured very well is when Thomas gets out of the elevator and looks at everyone thing around him I can image that he sees long grass up to his knees with big gray walls made up of stone.
