Anna Adams was born in France, but was partially raised in the U.S. She is constantly fascinated by both stories in French and English. She is currently living in Paris, France where she studies as a law student. When she isn't writing, Anna Adams loves to travel all over Europe. I can tell from her background, that her stories are greatly influenced by where she has lived and grown.

In this book, the main character, Maude, has a passion for the art of singing. In my real life, I absolutely love to sing, which is partly the reason I chose to read this book; because the book centers around her love of singing and music, I relate to Maude which makes me more emotionally invested in this particular book. This makes it more enjoyable for me, rather than someone who knows nothing about music.
