I have been listening half reading this book I can’t say what this is about not for sure so best believe I’m confused

Let me tell you Wesley is what’s holding me

Wanna know why the audiobook fucked up the book is written in third person and old language as in old as hell and than randomly one sentence came in first person my brain lost all sense had to repeat it three times

I just wanna know who the love interest is and what we fighting against but nooo we in a random ass castle
