The book is very detailed, that's why it might feel more heavy, but its also why I like this book, it goes into the details, explaining every angle of the situation, and as we follow the story about Kvothe, we learn even more about him as a person, and his thoughts, which makes this book so lively and real. I would recommend this book to any fantasy fan out there.
