What an exercise in perseverance and frustration. Please tell me these were written early in the author's career because nothing else she's written caused me to want to tear my hair out. I don't like either main character...their collective behavior has me constantly shaking my head and rolling my eyes. I just want it to be over. --- I love the narrator. :)
