I would rate my book a 3 out of 5 stars. I liked how we got to follow the lives of NFL players and the stories they had. I disliked it when it got super scientific because it started to get boring. I believe people would gain knowledge about brain injuries, especially CTE. People who are very into the human body and brain would enjoy this book a lot.

The author has my trust because he never and if so very rarely says his opinion. It is usually stories and other people's first-hand experiences and documents telling the stories making it far more accurate.

One of the key claims is that CTE is affecting football players. Both physically and mentally with their brain and we see this in the book. Annie McKee got an NFL player's brain and found that "it looked just like dementia pugilistica, it was full of disease"(Wanda 259). Because of the repeated hits, we see that his brain is messed up like a person with dementia but the player died at 45.
