I’ve entered part 3 and I see how everything is coming together slowly
I’m so excited to see Shallan again, I’ve missed her perspective
I also can’t help but feel bad for Szeth and i can’t wait to learn how one becomes truthless and what it means

I’ve slown down heavily on this book, mostly because of less time I have to read, but also this part of the story has slown down quite a bit. I enjoy Kaladin as a character, but of all the ones we’ve met he is my least favorite so far which makes getting through these past chapters a little harder.

I am enjoying reading from new perspectives though, flipping between only Shallan and Kaladin was getting a little repetitive (not tiring, just repetitive)

I love the sections with Shallan because they are where Sanderson’s writing shines the most. His natural flow of dialouge and the way he portrays his characters is amazing and I find myself getting drawn into even simple conversations because of how real and fluid these conversations feel

I was expecting a Game of Thrones type book, and while I enjoy GOT I am really glad this isn’t that at all, and I love how refreshing this feels. Shallan is my favorite character so far, she is such a cool and kind person

Great so far, lashings seem so unique and i can’t wait to see what ends up happening with Talenel being left behind by the others
