Maureen Ok, I had to rent the movie in order to finish this book...and I always feel the book should be read before watching any movie based on a book.

Honestly, I don't know what to think of the main character, Hanna. I feel any book that deals with the aftermath of the Holocaust has significance and can be a lesson learned but I just really disliked Hanna's character. I felt badly for Michael and his loss of innocence with such a self-centered individual.

I love to read this type of genre but this book just didn't do it for me. Sorry, I feel badly about that...
