In first 1/3 of book she is more examining what happened to conversos during the inquisition than actually discussing family history. I'm guessing her goal during rest of book is to put the pieces together.

I just got book from library today and I'm excited to read it. My husband's family has a similar history, so I'm hoping this book offers us clues as to trace lineage.
