The first part of this book is an emotional roller coaster that doesn’t seem to end. The way Kennedy writes about DV, is hunting well done. The fear, the action, the inactions, the hurt, the feeling of how small you feel, is just hunting… and so dam true. Not feeling any power, being stopped bear to your soul. I cried for Iris, and all the woman who had and do experience DV in any form.
