The Seas of Heaven by David Parish-Whittaker: a girl who can sing to fish tries to save them by getting them to take to the air, out of polluted waters. Horribleness ensues.

Sand and Teeth by Carmen Tudor: a woman goes from water carrier, to overseer, but she knows her time is limited.
I would have liked a stronger plat and more of the character in this story.

The Grenade Garden by Michael Moorcock: What just happened? If there was a plot in this, I missed it. Do you have to be familiar with Jerry Cornelius to understand? Or is this just pay back because the first three "Weird Fantasy" stories made complete sense?

Little Pig, Berry Brown and the Hard Moon by Jay Lake: When her mother is mortally wounded in a hunt, Little Pig asks the Hard Moon how to save her.

Time's Mistress by Steven Savile: the life and death of a wife of a sultan. I didn't actually read this one all the way though, I found the dialogue-info dump/life story-dialogue-info dump structure boring, and the whole thing overwritten in general.

Bones of a Righteous Man by Michael Ezell: a man, who murdered a righteous man and now carries the magical bones that resulted, travels through the desert.
In general goo, but I felt the end was a little disconnected from the rest of the tale.

Loincloth by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta: a movie obsessed nice guy discovers a movie prop that can turn him into Tarzan-knockoff. In doing so he saves his strikingly beautiful crush from Mr Sleep-With-Me-Or-You'll-Never-Work-Again. Sorry, but this was a bit too predictable for me.

Pandal Food by Samit Basu: learn about the goddess Durga and her battles against asurs, and how it might not have gone as well as everyone thinks. Not much plot, twist ending.

The Bluest Hour by Jaye Wells: guy, who's sad because the love of his life was fridged well before the start of the story, goes to New Orleans to discover Soul Singing, with actual dead people, proving once and for all that the cure for being an alcoholic is magic singing.

Showlogo by Nnedi Okorafor: the story of a guy who can't die, I think? The life story of a Nigerian guy who goes to extreme measures to leave Nigeria is probably more precise.
