I'm not sure if I'll finish In Patagonia. While it is easy to read and split into short digestible chapters, I feel the book hasn't given me a clear sense of who the writer is or where they are exactly.
For such geographically spectacular place, I feel descriptions of that and where Chatwin is lacking. I appreciate that In Patagonia is as much about the characters but, more scene setting would supplement the read.
