Maggie spends her entire chapter talking about how she does like Lucas and that he made her life miserable and he starts his chapter with … he wanted to spend as much time as possible getting to know Maggie Buchanan better. And, if he’d read her correctly, she was just as interested.

my biggest problem with this is I just KNOW a miscommunication scene is brewing and nothing will change that. They both want the same store, and Maggie wants to buy a store, and idk why Lucas hasn't just asked her where she's thinking of buying. I just feel like a real partner would be "oh, cool, where are you thinking you'll go?" and they're partners so Maggie would trust him not to tell others so???
