Maybe not for all out action fans however has a gritty realism that is a welcome change, don't me wrong, I like the Vince Flynn style books, they are great, Loren's books are more subdued but gritty when needs to be.

Some interesting new characters. Building up to a final confrontation no doubt. Sometimes I think the skills of some in the book are a little overstated but then I think of the author and I guess they may not be, unless it is intentional. Will read book 3 and I see that book 4 is out soon.
