Notes:
(1) The art's still terrible, but it's eased up a bit from the utter trash it was at the start.
- In addition to not being able to tell what's what, the anatomy's messed up, like you're looking at funhouse mirrors.
(2) It's a pet peeve of mine when writers quote scripture out of context to sound ominous or creepy.
- To me it's just forcing square pegs in round holes.

Notes:
(1) This first arc was maddening! The story's actually pretty good, but the art is so stylized that it's often totally incomprehensible.
- Must be a 2000s thing, because I felt the same way about Scott McDaniel's run on "Nightwing." Though with McDaniel, at least there was clear visual storytelling, in spite of the wonky anatomy and abstract shapes. This is just mud.

Notes:
(1) I've not read a book in about a week. For me, that's a long time. Been preoccupied with some medical issues. Nothing serious, just annoying and time-consuming.
- I need to get back in the swing of things, though this may not be the ideal book to start my comeback with. Better to read some singles to gain momentum instead of a trade of a series I don't care about.
