I know this sounds annoying but I was kind of hoping she’d die in the same way as her mother, like she pieces it all together and nobody else has a chance to because she’s dead. That is semiiiii happening rn

The whole time I’ve had a nagging feeling that Jack is baaaaaddd. So much in the last chapter has just sealed that for me, it’s coming to fruition and I’m feeling vindicated but not satisfied…life there isn’t another twist I’m just going to feel kind of let down that it was so plain throughout the whole text.

feeling like our protagonist is a littttlleee delusional, I’m not picking up on flirtatiousness from Jack at all, which leads me to think the scorching judgement is also imagined. I like the parallels between her and the mother. I like the softening up to her grandmother, the breakfast spread broke my heart a little
