I always hope that they just tough it out on Caradhras instead of listening to dumb Gandalf when I get to this part. It's Gimli's fault too...

Sam is such a goon. Book version is totally whiny and needy. Movie version is much more fun!

I seriously have 33 library books checked out. Spent $65 at Powell's this weekend and all I want is to re-read this book for the 20th time. I got issues!
