I enjoy books about the AT and have read many of them. This book is good in it's telling of a hike and in giving examples of what to do and especially what not to do. I find the writer to be quite the hothead and I don't think I would like to run into him along the trail. He really needs to learn to pick his battles more carefully and to not sweat the small stuff.
