i was just told that it's better to have read a court of silver flames before starting this book to better understand the world and some plot points but i really do not wanna do that & instead continue with this bcz i'm so excited; so does anyone wanna help me out by letting me know of relevant details from acosf that'll be useful for reading this book? i don't mind if they are spoilers, so please dm? thank you <3

p.s. i have read the first 3 books of acotar, just not a court of frost and starlight and a court of silver flames.

There are a lot of major parts of A Court of Silver Flames in this, specifically some of the weapons and world-building that Nesta discovers in ACOSF, which are used as major plot points in this book (not just during the crossover/at the beginning; there are plot points from ACOSF incorporated even all the way at the end of this book). It's a bit hard to sum up and might be confusing to you without reading ACOSF, but I totally get your feelings and eagerness to read this! It might be fine for you to proceed, but I personally think some things might not feel fleshed out in this without reading ACOSF first (a big part of the crossover is so Bryce can access an item and information from Nesta that doesn't appear in ACOTAR until ACOSF).
