by p.180 of this book, taking the previous book into consideration, the polyp attacks and island struggle plot is really making it hard to get through. The character development is nice, but it's getting painfully slow at this point and I am starting to feel as though this book and the last one couldn't have just been combined. Seriously, a little sick of the polyps now.
