(V-visualization) The author uses very descriptive words to describe Susie's father buying Susie her gold charm bracelet- the way this part flashes back allows the reader to clearly visualize the scene.

(V-vocab) knell- the sound of a bell, especially when rung solemnly for a death or funeral.

(P-prediction) I predict that Buckley's anger towards his mother will diminish, as soon as his mother and father get back together. I think that it could also only last until they find out who murdered Susie.

(F-favorite) One of my favorite parts in this chapter so far is when Susie meets her grandfather in heaven. Although their encounter is brief, is is cool to read about how Susie's memories all come back to her.

(Favorites) When Lindsey and Samuel got engaged, all Susie's father could see was Susie, and how she would never get that experience.

(Prediction) As Susie watches from heaven, I predict that she's jealous of her sister and the fact that she will never be able to fall in love or live her life.

"The guy built doll houses." This was the quote that connected two murders, that started an investigation, and led to Susie's murderer being found and punished.

(Favorites) Susie's mother seems to actually be finding peace by taking a break from life, even though she'll eventually have to snap out of it and come back to reality.

(Ask) why would Susie's mother leave her family in this desperate time, when she knows they need her?

(Prediction) I think that Ray isn't just hanging out with Ruth to pretend she's Susie's, and I think her genuinely likes her, even though she is lesbian.
