Finally getting a sense that the text isn't interested only in how cool and awesome it is to be a holy warrior, so that's nice. Overall Part 2 was missing the character I like most, and is too interested in the incredibly slow origin of what are to be the coolest holy warriors of them all.

It's hard to explain why I'm having fun with this. Partly because I have a friend who I can show the overwrought and devastatingly shallow prose to. Partly because I do enjoy looking at all the fan art that this inspires. Partly because it reminds me of the books that were my escape when I was fourteen and right now that's kind of nice. Who's to say!
