It is really interesting to understand the facts and policies which form the basis of foreign interventions. Now when we feel we are free and have made so much progress since the world wars and imperialism era, it’s quite eye opening to see how not a lot has changed at the base of it at all. Just the players have changed however the game has remained the same!

Chomsky beautifully compares the dictatorship of corporate Vs political dictatorships, questions the definition of Freedom. I am baffled and intrigued! though I have no new ideas on what, if not capitalism :)

What, beyond very basic physiological Requirements, defined needs, and what marks the point when we move from needs into wants. This is a very slippery category, one that is quite explicitly exploited by the advertising and marketing fields, whose entire job is to convert wants into needs.
