I like reading books set in locations that are utterly different than my own - like the Hillerman mysteries set in New Mexico. So here we have one set in Australia’s Outback and we begin to come to a better comprehension of the land there, as well as the culture and its people. This story is a missing persons mystery and it’s already turned grim.
