I am personally convinced that the Jesus a lot of people are walking away from is not Jesus at all, as the only Jesus I recognize now is an oppressed, persecuted, brown skinned man who was trampled by an empire, not a mascot who was invented for one. But nothing about what you see on your road can be dictated, for this is very much your path, and the path must be trusted, and you must be trusted to walk it.
