I am not having a good time, which is so disappointing because I’ve been meaning to read this for years.
But thus far this is the perfect example of only telling, never showing. I have no idea what’s going on and not in a good, mysterious, dark way.
The concept seems so enticing but the book itself is a huge letdown. Hopefully it will pick up from here.
