During my first read, I didn't like Persephone a lot. Now, rereading, I can see her sacrifice. She never really thought about herself. It was always for her people. Even when she was just a Chieftain's wife.

I am developing love for so many characters, THIS IS NOT GOING TO END WELL FOR ME.
