i thought this would be a quick 1-day read because its only 152 pages, but the writing is so complex and has so many layers that its forcing me to go back, re-read sentences over and over again, and think until i get it. i got my copy for 1$ at a secondhand store and it was 1$ because someone with horrible handwriting annotated all over it, but their notes (though written horribly) are really helping me think
