The first chapter swept me off to the English coast and I felt I could taste the salt and smell the sea air. I'm enjoying the writing style, comfortable and easy while painting just enough of the picture. The first problem for the protagonist was somewhat predictable but the mystery of what's next makes that forgivable. I can't wait to delve further into the time period and the lives of those I've met so far.
