“What the hell was that for?” I ask, making my voice gruff. My pulse is still speeding merrily along.
Murphy just glances at me out of the corner of his eye and lifts one shoulder up in a shrug as he finishes buttoning his shirt, but I’m not fooled one bit. Jesus, I am in a shit-ton of trouble.
“Ok, quit looking so proud of yourself,” I growl. Murphy’s face splits into a smile.
