I became distracted when the author was doing a flash back. I was distracted because she didn't show or tell me if it was a flash back. Also when she finished the flash back I just got confused because I didn't know when we were going back to the present.

In my mind I think of Carrie as a person that is really greedy. I think she is because she wants to have the perfect life but there s no such thing. She just wants to be popular and smart and athletic but she doesn't have to. She also has a superstition that her T-shirt is lucky. So because she thinks it's lucky when she loses she thinks she has no more luck and everything is going wrong.
