this man has quite a way with words. i always stash away a few new vocab words everytime i pick this up. as david told me, he seems to be leaning heavily on falkner's style which can't be bad but it seems that he has yet to really come into his own. the verbage in this one keeps me chipping away when i want to be poetically inspired rather that gulping pages to find out what happens around the corner.
